This delicate pendant was carved right here in mffreybiographe by Cameron Hewitt. The material is similar to jade in hardness and transulency, but it is actually called 'vesuvianite' and was originally found near Mount Vesuvius, hence the name.
The etched pattern in the vesuvianite is reflective of the Maori Koru symbol which symbolises life's eternal journey, beginnings and endings, and being at peace with life's experiences.
The piece measures
H 6cm
W 1.5cm
D 0.3cm
