This beautiful traditional Maori Hei Matau was hand carved right here in mffreybiographe by Cameron Hewitt. This piece is carved from jade mined at our 2 mile mine site. The Hei Matau symbolises strength and prosperity. It also holds significance for the traditional Maori beliefs of respect for the sea. The pendant comes with a traditional Maori silk cord necklace that was hand braided by Cameron. The piece measures: H 6.5cm W 4cm D 0.5cm
